100 Days of Prayer (s27): Days 43-49

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.
God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.
Day 43: Sunday, October 18
Faithful God, give us courage to use our voices and our votes to protect the dignity and rights of all people. May our participation help build a more just and compassionate world.
Day 44: Monday, October 19
Today I pray for those who hold power and wealth, that they may consider the needs of everyday people in their decisions. May their leadership be guided by compassion, justice, and a commitment to the common good.
Day 45: Tuesday, October 20
Holy Spirit, watch over communities facing extreme weather and protect all those in harm’s way. May those affected find safety, comfort, and support, and may we respond to our neighbors with compassion and generosity.
Day 46: Wednesday, October 21
We pray for those in detention centers who have experienced abuse or neglect. May truth come to light, accountability be pursued, and every person be treated with dignity and compassion.
Day 47: Thursday, October 22
God of provision, I pray for families struggling with rising oil and fuel costs, especially those already facing financial hardship. May leaders consider these burdens and work toward a future where everyone can meet their basic needs.
Day 48: Friday, October 23
God of peace, give us rest and renewal amid the worries and demands of daily life. May we find peace in God’s presence and renewed strength to serve our neighbors with love.
Day 49: Saturday, October 24
Loving and gracious God, protect children as they navigate the online world, keeping them safe from exploitation and harm. Give families, educators, and technology leaders the wisdom to create safer spaces for every child.
