100 Days of Prayer (s27): Days 64-70

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.
God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.
Day 64: Sunday, November 8
God of all Creation, we celebrate the beauty and wonder of all beings. May the International Climate Talks in Turkey yield significant, measurable reductions in pollution to safeguard Earth and all inhabitants.
Day 65: Monday, November 9
In this International Week of Science and Peace, we pray that medical, public health, and scientific research is re-funded to protect and promote the fullness of life for everyone.
Day 66: Tuesday, November 10
Centering One, as the impacts of last week’s election continue to unfold, we pray for an end to political division and strife. Empower newly elected leaders to put ideology aside so the common good may flourish.
Day 67: Wednesday, November 11
Protecting God, may Your abundant blessings fall upon all veterans, especially those facing mental health challenges, physical injuries, or suicidal ideation. Comfort and strengthen all affected by military service.
Day 68: Thursday, November 12
God of Justice, we pray for our siblings living with structures of inequality that perpetuate cycles of poverty. Empower Your people to recognize and dismantle injustices and build safe and financially resilient communities.
Day 69: Friday, November 13
We pray for all who have lost their lives in school shootings. May schools be safe havens for teaching and learning. May people considering violence receive swift and compassion treatment.
Day 70: Saturday, November 14
Holy One, today I pray that all who toil to provide our everyday necessities – food, coffee, clothes, houses – have safe working conditions, fair wages, and leisure time to live into God’s fullness.
