Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 50: Sunday, October 25

Generous God, open our hearts to recognize the needs of our dear neighbors and respond with compassion. May we share our time, resources, and gifts freely, building communities where everyone feels seen, cared for, and valued.

Day 51: Monday, October 26

Loving God, protect older adults from scammers and predators who seek to exploit their trust and savings. Guide us in creating a world where our elders are treated with dignity, care, and respect.

Day 52: Tuesday, October 27

Gracious God, guide those developing new food technologies, including cell-cultivated foods, to prioritize health and safety. May everyone have access to nourishing food and the information needed to make informed choices.

Day 53: Wednesday, October 28

Today I pray for younger generations, including those protesting in France, who are seeking hope with opportunities to earn a living and afford basic necessities like housing and food.

Day 54: Thursday, October 29

God of Wisdom, grant us the discernment to use artificial intelligence for the good of all, rather than as a tool for exploitation or harm. May we use AI with integrity, protecting human dignity and serving the common good.

Day 55: Friday, October 30

Compassionate God, be with individuals and families who rely on SNAP benefits to put food on the table. Move our communities and leaders to protect access to essential nourishment so that no one is left hungry or forgotten.

Day 56: Saturday, October 31

God of peace, be near to those experiencing anxiety, fear, and uncertainty. May

they find comfort, compassionate support, and the reassurance that they do not

have to face their struggles alone.
