100 Days of Prayer (s27): Days 57-63

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.
God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.
Day 57: Sunday, November 1
On this feast of All Saints, we commemorate all who have died in wars. May global leaders abandon conflicts based on greed and ideology and engage in strategies that uplift all people.
Day 58: Monday, November 2
Energizing God, we pray for all who work tirelessly for immigrant rights – attorneys, advocates, those who manage migrant shelters. May their efforts continue to welcome those fleeing persecution and to free the oppressed.
Day 59: Tuesday, November 3
God of Justice, we pray for safe and fair elections. May the leaders we choose facilitate equal access to housing, food, education, and financial security so that all may experience the fullness of life.
Day 60: Wednesday, November 4
Nourishing One, we pray for all farmers and their workers, who toil to feed our country. May their labor and sacrifice be honored with the easing of tariffs, decrease in fuel costs, and fair livable wages.
Day 61: Thursday, November 5
God of Comfort, we continue to pray for all those who have lost their homes or suffered serious impacts from recent “natural” disasters. We ask that leaders respond quickly with compassion and aid to rebuild communities and families.
Day 62: Friday, November 6
God of Wholeness, we pray for all survivors of sexual assault and trafficking. May they be surrounded by support, understanding and love, and journey to physical, mental, and emotional healing.
Day 63: Saturday, November 7
Restorative God, we pray for all who are on death row, that their lives be spared. May the innocent be freed and may the guilty come to acknowledge their faults and be reconciled in You.
