100 Days of Prayer (s17): Days 15-21

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 15: Sunday, May 21

Healing God, I pray for those who care for their loved ones in their homes. May they receive all the resources and support needed. Provide them with strength and embrace them with Your loving spirit.

Day 16: Monday, May 22

I pray for my brothers and sisters who are at risk of becoming unhoused due to unaffordable housing conditions, low wages and lack of social programs and services to support their needs.

Day 17: Tuesday, May 23

Unifying God, I pray for fair immigration reform that integrates long-term residents, promotes family unity, upholds due process, respects human dignity, expands legal pathways, and strengthens humanitarian protections.

Day 18: Wednesday, May 24

Today, I pray that our nation’s leaders embrace the importance of fostering peace and unity within our communities, ultimately leading to an inclusive, harmonious, and united nation.

Day 19: Thursday, May 25

God of Justice, I pray that our elected officials honor and uplift the culture, traditions, and contributions of our Indigenous brothers and sisters, who still face discrimination. Inspire me to boldly advocate for their rightful recognition.

Day 20: Friday, May 26

Today, I pray for the enactment of laws that promote policies safeguarding the voting rights of all individuals, including people of color. Loving God, please guide us towards a democracy that embraces inclusivity and diversity.

Day 21: Saturday, May 27

Compassionate God, I pray for all those affected by domestic violence. May they find refuge, support, and safety within their communities. Bring healing to their hearts and restore their self-esteem.
