100 Days of Prayer (s23): Days 36-42

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 36: Sunday, June 15

God of the journey, be with all students who are graduating and entering new seasons of life. In moments of uncertainty, may they trust in Your presence and step forward with courage and grace.

Day 37: Monday, June 16

Today we lift up families in our local communities impacted by ICE raids and immigration enforcement. May they be wrapped in Your protection and upheld by neighbors who choose compassion over fear.

Day 38: Tuesday, June 17

God of Creation, we pray for the strength to care for our Earth with urgency and hope. May we act boldly to protect the most vulnerable communities disproportionately affected by environmental harm.

Day 39: Wednesday, June 18

Loving God, we pray for parents, grandparents, and all caregivers raising children in today’s complex world. May they find strength in You and in one another, and may their efforts be supported by community and compassion.

Day 40: Thursday, June 19

God of shelter, we lift up those in our communities who are unhoused or at risk of losing their homes. May we work for just systems, compassionate outreach, and lasting solutions that reflect Your love for all.

Day 41: Friday, June 20

Today we pray for workplaces to reflect the equity and dignity You intend for every person. May race, gender, or background never be a barrier to opportunity. May hiring practices be rooted in fairness and care.

Day 42: Saturday, June 21

God of love and liberation, be near to immigrant families facing fear, separation, or displacement. May they experience justice in our systems and mercy in our hearts.
