Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 71: Sunday, March 29

God of Hope, as we enter Holy Week, we bring to You our wounded world. May we, and all leaders, follow Jesus’ example to work for healing and wholeness in ourselves, our communities, and our world.

Day 72: Monday, March 30

God of Wisdom, we pray for all who are affected by the partial government shutdown, particularly those who face mounting financial pressures. Empower our leaders to invest in people, not the continuation of war.

Day 73: Tuesday, March 31

Healing One, we lift up all survivors of sexual assault. May they find lasting strength from compassionate and understanding sources, and be filled with resilience, love, and wholeness.

Day 74: Wednesday, April 1

Sheltering God, we pray for all who are unhoused. Strengthen those who provide healing resources, and fortify those who are housing insecure. Inspire leaders to implement just housing policy so that all may have a safe place to live.

Day 75: Thursday, April 2

God of protection, we pray for those affected by cruel and unjust immigration raids. May leaders transform brutal policies, and may our immigrant neighbors be free to live lives of safety, dignity, and abundance.

Day 76: Friday, April 3

Suffering God, we see You in all who are killed, wounded, and displaced due to war and aggression. May Your great love transform leaders to reject violence and work instead for unity, peace, and fullness of life.

Day 77: Saturday, April 4

Source of Light, we live gratefully in the hope of a resurrected world. We commit to bring Your love to our family, friends, and communities, confident that Your light dispels the darkness in every corner of our world.
