Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 8: Sunday, January 25

Gracious God, we thank You for Catholic schools and all who teach, learn, and serve within them. Bless students, educators, and families with wisdom, faith, and hope. May our schools continue to form hearts rooted in love and service.

Day 9: Monday, January 26

God of peace, we pray for the people of Gaza as they endure loss, destruction, and deep suffering. Bring healing to the wounded, comfort to those who grieve, and strength to rebuild lives and communities.

Day 10: Tuesday, January 27

Merciful God, we lift up individuals and families harmed or living in fear due to immigration enforcement. Protect the vulnerable, comfort the distressed, and uphold the dignity of every person.

Day 11: Wednesday, January 28

God of unity, when our world feels divided and tense, help us remain grounded in prayer. Teach us to listen with humility and respond with love. May our faith guide us toward peace and understanding.

Day 12: Thursday, January 29

Loving God, we lift up children and youth experiencing foster care. Surround them with safety, stability, and adults who reflect Your love and care. Heal their hearts and guide them toward hope and belonging.

Day 13: Friday, January 30

Creator God, we pray for cities and communities impacted by severe storms and extreme weather. Protect first responders and all who are vulnerable to danger and displacement. Grant safety, resilience, and swift recovery.

Day 14: Saturday, January 31

Holy Spirit, stir in us the courage to be peacemakers in our communities and beyond. Strengthen us to stand for what is right with compassion and truth. May our lives reflect Your reconciling love.
