Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 78: Sunday, November 23

Merciful God, protect those without shelter as winter and heavy rains arrive. Surround them with warmth, safety, compassionate care, and a path to affordable housing.

Day 79: Monday, November 24

Creator of all life, we lift up animals who suffer from abuse or neglect. Heal their wounds, guide them to safety, and inspire us to care for all creatures with tenderness.

Day 80: Tuesday, November 25

God of provision, sustain families struggling through dramatic changes in government operations, especially those who have lost their livelihoods. Guide them through uncertain times.

Day 81: Wednesday, November 26

Loving Lord, comfort those who mourn the loss of someone dear. Hold them close and bring peace to their aching hearts.

Day 82: Thursday, November 27

Gracious God, on this Thanksgiving we pause to remember the many ways You have provided for us. Teach us to bless others with the same generosity we have received.

Day 83: Friday, November 28

God of hope, be near to those who are unemployed or searching for work. Open doors, provide stability, and renew their confidence in Your care.

Day 84: Saturday, November 29

Compassionate God, be a loving presence to those who feel alone during this holiday season. Surround them with comfort, community, and reminders that they are deeply valued.
