100 Days of Prayer (s24): Days 57-63

ree

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 57: Sunday, November 2

Today I pray for those reeling from the effects of natural disasters. May recent victims find the emergency services they desperately need. Guide to new life all those still trying to adjust months and years after a climate catastrophe.

Day 58: Monday, November 3

Bless all who bring food to our tables - from SNAP providers to migrants who gather from our fields and prepare our food in large processing plants or local kitchens. May their hard work be appreciated and reach all who are hungry.

Day 59: Tuesday, November 4

Today I pray for the integrity of the election process so that all eligible voters can go to the polls with ease and feel like they are heard and represented. May the leaders we elect serve the common good and assist those most in need.

Day 60: Wednesday, November 5

Light of the World, bring hope to people struggling to make ends meet with the challenges of affordable housing, food insecurity, and medical expenses. Enable communities, from elected officials to close neighbors, to lift each other up.

Day 61: Thursday, November 6

Open my eyes to see my brothers and sisters who may be disenfranchised and deprived by policies that undermine inclusion. Grant me wisdom to use my voice to advocate for opportunities that equitably includes all people.

Day 62: Friday, November 7

Prince of Peace, comfort the people afflicted by war all over the globe. Transform the hearts of aggressors to cease violence and work toward mutual understanding and restoration.

Day 63: Saturday, November 8

Today I pray for the dismantling of the illegal drug ecosystem. Heal the addicted to reduce demand. Create opportunity for traffickers to turn to a new life. Put an end to major crimes including extrajudicial killings.
