Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 22: Sunday, September 28

NATIONAL MIGRATION WEEK - We pray for those forced to leave home in

search of safety and hope. Protect migrants and refugees along their paths. Help

us to see in every traveler the face of Christ.

Day 23: Monday, September 29

Lord, our nation feels torn by anger, fear, and mistrust. Grant me patience and

wisdom in my conversations and reactions, including on social media. Replace

hostility with listening, resentment with forgiveness, and suspicion with love.

Day 24: Tuesday, September 30

Merciful God, we pray for our brothers and sisters without safe shelter. Protect

them from harm, loneliness, and despair. Stir our hearts to act with generosity

and care. May every person know the dignity of home and community.

Day 25: Wednesday, October 1

Creator God, guard our food supply from corruption, greed, and waste. Bless

farmers, workers, and all who ensure food reaches our tables. Help us share

resources wisely so that all may be nourished.

Day 26: Thursday, October 2

God of Providence, as the cost of living rises and families feel the strain, grant

relief to those burdened by financial stress. Strengthen communities to support

one another, and inspire leaders to pursue policies of fairness and justice.

Day 27: Friday, October 3

We rejoice when Your children find their way back to worship and community.

Welcome them with open arms. Remove any shame, fear, or hesitation. Fill

Your Church with warmth and hospitality so all may know they belong.

Day 28: Saturday, October 4

Creator of Heaven and Earth, transform the hearts and minds of those who

call climate change a hoax. Guide my actions to care for our common home,

including all its creatures. May this be a gift to future generations.
