100 Days of Prayer (s22): Days 92-98

Updated: Apr 17

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 92: Sunday, April 20

EASTER - Risen Christ, may we celebrate Your resurrection not only in word, but in the everyday actions of love. Transform our hearts, that we may truly see every person as our dear neighbor and sibling, worthy of our respect.

Day 93: Monday, April 21

Spirit of God, our hearts break with Yours when we see images of children killed, injured, or left parentless in wars. May leaders put an end to violence and turn to collective action that will allow all people to live in safety.

Day 94: Tuesday, April 22

EARTH DAY - Loving Creator, on this Earth Day, may we recognize our role in the destruction of ecosystems. May we redouble our efforts to live simply and sustainably, protecting all of Your precious creation for future generations.

Day 95: Wednesday, April 23

We fervently pray for those who are undernourished and facing starvation in this world of plenty. May federal programs, such as SNAP, be protected and strengthened so that children and families may live life to the fullest.

Day 96: Thursday, April 24

God of Comfort, may we align our hearts with Yours in compassion and right action for migrants stuck at the border, unable to move forward and unable to return to their home countries because of violence, threats, and social unrest.

Day 97: Friday, April 25

We pray for our unhoused siblings who face financial difficulty, family violence, mental illness, or addiction. May resources abound, welcoming our dear neighbor in an embrace of healing and community.

Day 98: Saturday, April 26

Source of Healing, we pray for all those facing illness or injury. May strong healthcare programs exist in every country. We pray that Congress protects Medicaid from any cuts, and that all people have the care they need.
