100 Days of Prayer (s16): Days 59-65

Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.

God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 59: Sunday, March 19

FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH - Inclusive God, I pray for the migrant families and refugees who may be in danger of being separated or detained. May the current administration find a way to respect the dignity of all migrants.

Day 60: Monday, March 20

Today I pray for the people in developing countries that they may continue to be sustained in their efforts to address the environmental disasters caused by the climate crisis impacting their struggling communities.

Day 61: Tuesday, March 21

God of Abundant Love, inspire me to have an open mind and heart that lead me to collaborate with others for the common good. I pray you touch the hearts of those who may feel isolated.

Day 62: Wednesday, March 22

WORLD WATER DAY - Today I pray for the success of the ongoing collective efforts to address the needs of women and girls worldwide who are disproportionately impacted by the lack of clean water and sanitation facilities.

Day 63: Thursday, March 23

God of Justice, I pray that I find it within myself to recommit to the collective voice to address the intersectionality of racism, forced migration and climate crisis that impact our common home.

Day 64: Friday, March 24

Today I pray for the vulnerable communities facing health issues and are challenged by the ongoing fallout from the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. I pray that the healthcare needs of the people be addressed.

Day 65: Saturday, March 25

Compassionate God, I pray for an end to oil and gas development that undermines Your Creation and endangers the safety and livelihood of our Indigenous brothers and sisters.
