Begin with the prayer below, then go to the prayer for the day.
God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.
Day 57: Sunday, July 6
God of refuge, we pray for immigrant families living in fear as ICE raids increase across the country. May those targeted find safety and solidarity. Strengthen communities to resist unjust policies with courage and compassion.
Day 58: Monday, July 7
Today we lift up families whose well-being is threatened by harmful budget cuts. Protect those who depend on healthcare and SNAP assistance. May lawmakers choose policies that prioritize human dignity over political gain.
Day 59: Tuesday, July 8
Merciful One, we pray for all people harmed by war—those wounded, displaced, or grieving. May they be surrounded by comfort and receive the aid they need. Let us never forget the human cost of conflict.
Day 60: Wednesday, July 9
God of belonging, we pray for those who live in solitude—elders and youth, neighbors and friends—who may be far from family or loved ones. May they know connection, purpose, and the warmth of community.
Day 61: Thursday, July 10
Creator of the seas, we grieve the harm done to our oceans and marine life. Teach us to care for Your creation through small daily choices and bold collective action. May we protect what is sacred, not treat it as disposable.
Day 62: Friday, July 11
God of peace, we pray for the leaders of nations engaged in conflict. May they turn from violence and choose diplomacy. Give them wisdom to pursue justice, healing, and peace for their people and the world.
Day 63: Saturday, July 12
God of justice, may we never grow numb to suffering. Strengthen us to stand in solidarity with those at risk, to raise our voices for peace, and to live lives shaped by mercy, truth, and love.
