God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.

Day 43: Sunday, June 22

God of All, during this week, I commit to centering my mind and heart on You amidst the distress of these days. I will continue to do small things with great love.

Day 44: Monday, June 23

God of Justice, we pray for a reconciliation budget that protects public health, feeds those in need, and shelters immigrants who strengthen our communities. Grant strength to lawmakers to support just policies for all.

Day 45: Tuesday, June 24

God of Guidance, we pray for Your grace and wisdom to lead us out of this time of upheaval, cruelty, and harm. Enlighten our leaders to sow unity and wholeness for everyone.

Day 46: Wednesday, June 25

Welcoming One, we pray for all affected by violence and political instability, who are not even allowed to seek asylum in the U.S. May our country once again become a refuge for oppressed persons to live in the fullness of life.

Day 47: Thursday, June 26

God of Strength, we pray for all immigrants who have been unjustly detained and those who live in fear of this possibility. Transform the hearts of leaders to enact policies that protect, not endanger or villainize.

Day 48: Friday, June 27

God of Wholeness, we remain heart-broken by images of suffering and violence in the region where Jesus lived, preached, and healed. Heal the hearts of age-old enemies, transforming them into peaceful neighbors.

Day 49: Saturday, June 28

Loving Creator, we recognize the devastation we have brought to land, sea,

air, animals, and all ecosystems. Empower us to actions that reduce pollution,

conserve natural resources, and allow all of Creation to thrive.
