God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.
Day 50: Sunday, March 9
Beloved God, please heal those affected by recent measles outbreaks and other preventable illnesses. May Your loving hands bring comfort to any who suffer, especially those who are children.
Day 51: Monday, March 10
Today I pray for every trafficked man, woman, and child across the world, whose bodies are exploited for commercial use. Please guide victims to safety and restore their dignity and strength after surviving such an ordeal.
Day 52: Tuesday, March 11
God of wisdom, lead us to protect the animals that inhabit our earth, whose natural habitats are threatened by climate change. Transform the hearts of those who destroy our shared home in the name of profit.
Day 53: Wednesday, March 12
Today I pray for the teachers in our country, who are responsible for molding the minds of the next generation. May they be fairly compensated and appreciated for the hard work they do to guide our children.
Day 54: Thursday, March 13
Blessed God, mend the bonds between housed people and their unhoused brothers and sisters. Help us change the view of caring for our unhoused neighbors as a burden, to a duty performed with love and compassion.
Day 55: Friday, March 14
Today I pray for the people of Ukraine, whose lives have been turned upside-down since Russia’s invasion three years ago. May they receive lasting peace, freedom, dignity, and restoration after the suffering they have endured.
Day 56: Saturday, March 15
God of justice, help us build bridges in place of borders that separate us from our neighboring countries. Bless us with the wisdom to know that no human being is illegal, and compassion to take action and welcome our neighbors.
