God of wisdom and mercy, grant us patience to listen; compassion to be open to other views and opinions; generosity to forgive and grace to change. As you taught us to love our dear neighbor, we pray that you give us strength to be healing instruments of unity and reconciliation.
Day 24: Sunday, February 12
Healing God, show me how to advocate and assist those who struggle with mental health. Protect victims of those in need of mental healthcare. Restore caregivers who look after others. May all find a path to the care that they need.
Day 25: Monday, February 13
Today I pray for paycheck fairness. Influence business leaders to pay women equally to men for the same work. Guide budgets to create a minimum pay amount that is truly a living wage.
Day 26: Tuesday, February 14
God of love, when I make decisions to take action, place love at the forefront of my mind. May Your love move through me to others. May this lead me to advocate and connect with people who are taken advantage of or overlooked.
Day 27: Wednesday, February 15
Today I pray for inclusion. Let my voice be heard that people are welcome in every place in society. Enable me to effectively convey to others that racism and other forms of exclusion are not acceptable.
Day 28: Thursday, February 16
God of provision, remove obstacles that my sisters and brothers encounter in seeking food, shelter and safety. Let abundant food reach those who are hungry. Make housing affordable. Calm and disarm those who lean toward violence.
Day 29: Friday, February 17
I pray for knowledge and eloquence to share a persuasive case when advocating for those who are treated unfairly. Grant me the courage to use these gifts to their full effect. Enable me to create change when I witness injustice.
Day 30: Saturday, February 18
God of creation, enable me to abide in You and discern how to be a good steward of this world You gifted to us. Help me preserve precious resources, like water, so that everyone - including future generations - may be sustained.
